INDIA INNOVATES
In the era of knowledge we are still running behind others technology and hope to lead the world one day .But to lead we should come up or help in bringing our traditional, technology from grassroots so that we can proudly say “It’s our own technology”. Here is one such organization named “ NATIONAL INNOVATION FOUNDATION” formed by Dept. of Science and Technology of India to support the above cause in the year 2000.
This organization not only help in bringing the traditional knowledge, technology from grass roots which is new ,sustainable, creative and innovative but also help it to get it patent through Intellectual Patent Rights. Currently this organization has got 131 INDIAN patents .This organization also help the transformation of those technology into commercial form through funding which it does through MVIF formed with the collaboration of SIDBI.
